Journeyman Lineman
This position requires performance of all responsibilities required of a Journeyman Lineman
status to include construction, maintenance and repair of overhead and underground distribution
systems.
Applicant must be a graduate of an IBEW Apprenticeship Program, and become a member of
Local 483 within 90 days; possess (or obtain within 30 days) a current Washington State CDL
with Class A endorsement; provide proof of first aid, and CPR training; have the ability to
operate digger derricks, bucket trucks, backhoe and other equipment commonly used in the
electric distribution utility industry. Experience in construction and maintenance of underground
electric distribution systems and substation experience is preferred; After hours emergency call
outs and scheduled stand by duty is required.
Selected applicants will be required to take a written examination, prove competent in pole top
and vault rescue; must pass a job related pre-employment physical examination and drug
screening test. This position offers an excellent benefits package including 401-K and Pension

Wage or Salary: $37.20
Work Hours: 8-4:30 with Summer Hours 7-3:30
